It is only when the Hulk is at his maddest that he is able to become a superhero. He does get mad easily and it's been a long time in learning to calm himself before he smashes everything in sight. It was during his therapy sessions he realized he could do the city a greater good by harnessing his powers. It was at work when his best friend would discuss the strength of the Hulk, and the possibility of harnessing those powers. It was after hours when the Hulk would slightly change the formulas his colleague had worked on so no one would know this power.
When his best friend decided to head out on his own and was given his own lab by the pharmaceutical conglomerate, he could only hope the idea of having his power in medicinal form would be untouched as it had gone wrong so many times before.
But that was not to be.
The city is being hit with a crime wave.
Banks are being robbed, security guards are hurt, and the citizens are scared. It is night when the Hulk sees the crime taking place. Men are able to smash through the walls of the bank, and they band together to pull the door off the vault. He rushes in, but they are ready for him. They aren't as strong as him, but together they are formidable. The Hulk is getting a beat-down and he doesn't like it. Worse, others are running off with the money and he cannot hold all these men back. He does his best to subdue a few men but he knows he is running out of time and he cannot be found out. He gives one last roar, throwing the men on him into the street before heading into the alleys.
The men have made quite a haul and bring it back to their headquarters in a raucous mood. They lay all the money on a table before the Hulk's best friend. He has developed a way to make men stronger, but he is running out of funds to produce it fast enough and he can't quite seem to get rid of the side effect that gives the men a green tinge.
